		<description>It&#039;s too bad Altlaw had to close, but in a way it does represent a triumph for the free legal information movement! (can I call it a movement?)

Google also offers a free patent database as well - we offer a review of it at http://www.intellogist.com/wiki/Report:Google_Patent_Search - but it hasn&#039;t killed other sources of free patent information on the web.  I assume it&#039;s because these sources were already established, had better funding (or commercial revenues), and had higher traffic/usage than Altlaw.</description>
